The Hammers are planning an audacious bid of 26million this summer for Arsenal and England striker Theo Walcott, according to The Brentwood Gazette.
The 26 year old English International has fallen behind Arsenals new prospect Alex Iwobi in recent weeks and has not started a match for Arsenal since last month.
Walcott is getting increasingly worried about his lack of play time and if he is not chosen for Roy Hodgsons team for the Euros, there’s a highly likely chance he will walk away from The Emirates.
The speedy striker would likely relish the opportunity to play as West Ham’s main man through the middle and Steve Bilic is willing to facilitate this.
Arsenal are reported to have been interested in offers for Walcott who is currently on a whopping £140k a week salary.
