Sanchez expected to sign new improved Arsenal contract

Alexis Sanchez is reportedly expected to sign a new and improved contract with Arsenal amid reports linking him with a move to Paris Saint Germain.

Arsenal are currently holding talks with Sanchez over a new deal, which could potentially keep him at the Emirates for another 5 years.

The 27 year old Chilean International would like an improvement on his current £130,000k a week salary, and as Arsenals talisman he will most likely be given it.

Spanish newspaper As have warned Arsene Wenger to finalise Sanchez’s contract very soon, or they may risk PSG making a large bid for him. The highly wealthy team are willing to offer Sanchez a substantial amount of money to lure him in.

Although Sanchez is thought to be very happy in North London with the Gunners and he should end up signing a £180,000k a week contract.

Arsene Wenger has confirmed that contract negotiations with Alexis Sanchez are going well.

“That (contract negotiations) will be done in the break, in the summer,” Wenger said.

“Yes, I am confident. Yes, they have a two-year contract left and there’s been nothing done yet.

“They look happy, when I talk to them they are happy and they want to extend their contracts so I don’t think it is a problem.”
