Arsenals season is not over yet….

2015-2016 Premier League season was Arsenals season. Manchester City, Chelsea and Manchester United were all stumbling down the table and Arsenal were league leaders at Christmas. But now, Arsenal sit 13 points behind current league leaders Leicester and worse yet, 6 behind Tottenham, albeit with a game in hand.

In Arsene Wengers 20 years with Arsenal, the Gunners have never finished behind their North London rivals.

With hopes and dreams of Arsenal winning a Premier League title since 2003-2004 season all but shattered within two months, there is still hope. What Wenger needs to do now is to make sure we overhaul Spurs in the Premier League. If Arsenal are going to take the fantastic chance we had of winning the Premier League this season away from us, then this is the last positive lift that Wenger can give us going into next season.

Second place is not a Premier League title, but catching up on Spurs is a trophy of pride.

Arsenal fans can feel positive about their fixtures and could quite easily pick up the maximum points from their remaining 6 games. Spurs on the other hand, head to Chelsea and I do not see them taking 3 points from Stamford Bridge. Nor do I see Spurs beating Newcastle on the last game of the season as they will be facing relegation and will have everything to play for. Could the Magpies be Arsenals last hope of the season?
