French newspaper Le 10 Sport claim that Arsenal are highly interested in signing Leciester winger and PFA winner Riyad Mahrez.
PSG are also reportedly interested in signing the Algerian International but Mahrez told media reports that his future lies in England and that ‘PSG does not excite him’.
‘Even today I am not too excited about the prospect of PSG. It is my town, but I do not see myself going back there. I don’t really want to go back to France. France does not really excite me, I love England’, Mahrez said about his future.
How does living in the capital of England sound Mahrez?
Arsene Wenger, who has been victimised in the media for months due to Arsenals title downfall, may begin to win over some anti – Wenger fans once again. Reports suggest that Wenger has lined up a £30 million bid for Mahrez as he looks to replace out of form Theo Walcott.
This would certainly be a fantastic buy for Arsenal who are in desperate need of building a spine in their woeful squad.
