Leicester win the Premier League Title

Leicester City win the premier league title after a fairytale season.
Leicester have completed one of the most remarkable stories in Premier League history by being crowned Champions of the Premier League. This time last year Leicester were celebrating avoiding relegation for another year and now they are celebrating being EPL title winners. Unbelievable.
Most bookmakers had written Leciester off at the beginning with impossible title odds of 5000-1 – even Arsenal sacking Wenger and hiring Piers Morgan was more likely to occur with odds being at 500-1.

Tottenham Hotspur had to win at Stamford Bridge last night in order to keep their slim title hopes alive. By half time it was looking likely that Tottenham were going to delay Leicester’s title celebrations by a week after Kane and Son found the back of Begovics goal. But not long into the second half Cahill powered a volley past Loris. Then came on super sub Hazard and he was the game changer. A beautiful counter attack lead to a stunning top corner curl from the Belgian in the last minutes of the game. Eden Hazard’s goal won Chelsea the Premier League last year and his goal last night gave Leicester the title.

After Ranieri flew back to England with his 96 year old mother Ranieri said ‘I’m so proud, I’m happy for my players, for the chairman, for the staff at Leicester City, all our fans and the Leicester community. It’s an amazing feeling and I’m so happy for everyone. I never expected this when I arrived.”

Leciester fans celebrated in the streets all night long and the Leciester players celebrated at Vardys house in style.

What a fairytale ending for Leciester City.
